Claire Danes in graphite. This was kinda weird for me to draw because of the eyes and how they were mostly hidded. The left side and the right seem to be contrasting, like I subconciously used two different styles, rough on hte left side and smooth on the right side. I think I'm getting better at the hair, hopefully. I guess I'm progressing nicely, but nowhere near where I want to be. Opinions?

Wow, this is cOOl

I like the mouth and her rigth eye, looks weird the nose (maybe just my imagination) and the left eye...

Going to fav this - not because it's perfect but because it's good and you obviously have your own criticisims of it.

With a bit more work you have some fantastic potential, I especially like the way you have captured her wistful expression.

This is beautiful. I love the contrast between the black and the white. There is not much black in it, yet is it brought forward in a very wonderful way.

wow! .. yes.. you are going places.
the hair is nice..and I like everything about it... the eyes..lips hair skin... graphite you say? it's very black.. looks like charcoal.. what type of graphite? (the one that they put in them soft pencils?)

how long does it take to finish a drawing.. let's say this one... I love the tones on the skin (and the fact that it soo looks like her... almost all of your "models" are very well captured.. ever considered drawing men? ) do you draw aditional guidelines.. for symmetry and proportion.. or you just look and draw?
